Konsument:

Aufgrund Ihrer negativ inotropen und chronotropen Wirkungen auf das Herz -, beta-adrenergischer rezeptor-blocking-Agenten (auch bekannt als beta-Blocker) reduzieren das herzzeitvolumen und kann zu Ausfällen oder verschlimmern die Symptome der arterielle Insuffizienz bei Patienten mit peripheren Gefäßerkrankungen. Neben der nicht-selektiver beta-Blocker (z.B. propranolol, pindolol verringern, timolol) abmildern können Katecholamin-vermittelte Vasodilatation während des Trainings durch die Blockierung der beta-2-Rezeptoren in peripheren Gefäßen. Therapie mit beta-Blockern verabreicht werden vorsichtig in Patienten mit peripheren Gefäßerkrankungen. Engmaschige überwachung für eine progression der arteriellen Obstruktion empfohlen.
