Konsument:

Mitoxantron induziert myelosuppression bei Verabreichung in therapeutischen Dosen indiziert zur Behandlung von Leukämie. Leukopenie ist die Tiefe der hämatologischen Nebenwirkung. Thrombozytopenie ist selten, kann aber schwere und Erythrozyten scheinen nicht erheblich betroffen sein. Die Therapie mit Mitoxantron sollte zurückgehalten werden, die in Patienten, deren Knochenmark-Funktion ist schwer depressiv nach vorheriger Bestrahlung oder Chemotherapie oder deren Knochenmark-Funktion erholt sich von der vorhergehenden zytotoxischen Therapie. Wenn der Bedarf größer als das Risiko, äußerster Vorsicht sollte ausgeübt werden, bei Verabreichung von Mitoxantron. Patienten sollten angewiesen werden, sofort über jedes Anzeichen oder Symptome, die darauf hindeutet, Knochenmark-Unterdrückung, wie Fieber, Halsentzündung, lokale Infektionen oder Blutungen. Eine engmaschige klinische mahnenden der hämatopoetischen Funktion wird empfohlen.
