Konsument:

Sympathomimetischen Substanzen kann unerwünschte kardiovaskuläre Effekte, insbesondere bei der Anwendung in hohen Dosierungen und/oder bei empfindlichen Patienten. In kardialen Geweben, diese Agenten erzeugen kann, positiv chronotrope und inotrope Effekte über die stimulation der beta - 1-adrenergen Rezeptoren. Herzminutenvolumen, Sauerstoffaufnahme und der Arbeit des Herzens erhöht werden kann. In der peripheren vaskulatur, Vasokonstriktion kann auftreten, durch die stimulation der alpha-1-adrenergen Rezeptoren. Herzklopfen, Tachykardie, Arrhythmie, Hypertonie, reflex Bradykardie, koronarer Okklusion, zerebrale Vaskulitis, Myokardinfarkt, Herzstillstand und Tod berichtet worden. Einige von diesen Substanzen, besonders ephedra-Alkaloide (Ephedrin, ma huang, phenylpropanolamin), kann auch prädisponieren Patienten zu hämorrhagischen und ischämischen Schlaganfall. Therapie mit Sympathomimetika Agenten sollten in der Regel vermieden werden, oder verabreicht Sie vorsichtig bei Patienten mit Empfindlichkeit gegenüber sympathomimetischen Aminen, Hyperthyreose, oder die zugrunde liegenden Herz-Kreislauf-oder zerebrovaskulären Erkrankungen. Diese Agenten sollten nicht verwendet werden bei Patienten mit schwerer koronarer Herzkrankheit oder schwerer/unkontrollierte Hypertonie.
