Konsument:

Phenothiazine können selten Ursache hämatologische Toxizität, einschließlich Agranulozytose, Thrombozytopenie, Eosinophilie, aplastische Anämie, purpura, granulocytopenia, und hämolytische Anämie. Milden Leukopenie auftreten kann, Häufig mit hohen Dosen über längere Zeiträume, sondern ist in der Regel reversibel, trotz Fortsetzung der Behandlung. Therapie mit Phenothiazine gegeben werden sollte vorsichtig, wenn überhaupt, bei Patienten mit vorbestehenden Blut dyscrasias oder Knochenmark-Unterdrückung. Komplette Blut zählt, sollte erhalten werden regelmäßig, und die Patienten sollten angewiesen werden, sofort über jedes Anzeichen oder Symptome andeutend blood dyscrasia, wie Fieber, Halsentzündung, lokale Infektion, Blutung, Blässe, übelkeit oder Gelbsucht. Die meisten Fälle von Agranulozytose aufgetreten sind, zwischen dem vierten und zehnten Wochen der Therapie.
