Phenothiazine können die Krampfschwelle senken und induzieren Anfälle, besonders wenn die Dosierung hoch oder erhöht sich rasch und während der Einleitung der Therapie. Der Phenothiazine zur Behandlung von Psychosen, chlorpromazine zu haben scheint, die größte epileptogenen Potenziale, während fluphenazine und Thioridazin haben die wenigsten. Konsument:

Betäubungsmittel (opioid -) Analgetikum, Wirkstoffe verschlimmern können Anfälle bei Patienten mit Anfallsleiden und bei höheren Dosierungen, die gemeldet wurden, zu induzieren Anfälle bei Patienten ohne Vorgeschichte von Anfällen. Die proconvulsant Tätigkeit kann der größte mit meperidin, der aktive Metabolit von denen gedacht, verantwortlich zu sein. Therapie mit Opioiden verabreicht werden soll, vorsichtig in Patienten mit oder Prädisposition zu Krampfanfällen.
