Bei der Überprüfung der Interaktion aus seriösen Quellen Drugs.com, Rxlist.com, Webmd.com, Medscape.com wurden Kontraindikationen oder Nebenwirkungen festgestellt, die Schäden verursachen oder die negativen Auswirkungen bei der Verwendung des Arzneimittels bei dieser Begleiterkrankung zu verstärken.

Konsument:

Hepatotoxizität einschließlich Laktatazidose, schwere Hepatomegalie mit Steatose, fulminanten hepatitis und Leberversagen, wurde im Zusammenhang mit der Nutzung von einige Nukleosid-reverse-Transkriptase-Inhibitoren (NRTIs) allein oder in Kombination mit anderen antiretrovirale Wirkstoffe. Therapie mit NRTIs gegeben werden sollte vorsichtig in Patienten mit bereits bestehenden Leber-Krankheit, eine Geschichte von Alkoholmissbrauch oder hepatitis. Die Therapie sollte ausgesetzt werden, wenn klinische oder Labor-Befunde suggerieren, eine Laktatazidose oder eine ausgeprägte Hepatotoxizität auftreten. Der Einsatz von abacavir ist kontraindiziert bei Patienten mit mittelschwerer bis schwerer leberfunktionsstörung, da seine Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit wurde nicht auf diese Patienten.
