Anticholinergika sind kontraindiziert bei Patienten mit obstruktiven Erkrankungen wie Achalasie, ösophagus-Stenose oder Stenose, pyloroduodenal Stenose, stenosing Magengeschwür, Pylorus Verstopfung und darmlähmung. Anticholinergika können weitere unterdrücken Darm-Motilität mit resultierende Niederschlag oder eine Verstärkung der toxischen megacolon.
