Bei der Überprüfung der Interaktion aus seriösen Quellen Drugs.com, Rxlist.com, Webmd.com, Medscape.com wurden Kontraindikationen oder Nebenwirkungen festgestellt, die Schäden verursachen oder die negativen Auswirkungen bei der Verwendung des Arzneimittels bei dieser Begleiterkrankung zu verstärken.

Konsument:

Trizyklische und tetrazyklische Antidepressiva (Tzas) haben anticholinerge Aktivität auf, die ältere Patienten sind besonders empfindlich. Tertiäre Amine wie Amitriptylin und trimipramine tendenziell weisen größere anticholinerge Effekte als mit anderen Agenten in der Klasse. Therapie mit TCAs sollte verabreicht werden vorsichtig in Patienten mit vorbestehenden Erkrankungen, die wahrscheinlich noch verschärft werden durch die anticholinerge Aktivität, wie Harnverhalt oder Verstopfung; Engwinkelglaukom, unbehandelte intraokulare Hypertonie, oder unkontrollierte primäre Offenwinkelglaukom; und Magen-Darm-obstruktive Erkrankungen. Bei Patienten mit Engwinkelglaukom, auch Durchschnittliche Dosis ausfallen kann, einen Angriff. Glaukom behandelt werden sollte und unter Kontrolle vor Beginn der Therapie mit TCAs, und der Augeninnendruck überwacht während der Therapie.
