Bei der Überprüfung der Interaktion aus seriösen Quellen Drugs.com, Rxlist.com, Webmd.com, Medscape.com wurden Kontraindikationen oder Nebenwirkungen festgestellt, die Schäden verursachen oder die negativen Auswirkungen bei der Verwendung des Arzneimittels bei dieser Begleiterkrankung zu verstärken.

Konsument:

Trizyklische Antidepressiva (TCAs) kann verschlimmern die Symptome der Psychose bei schizophrenen Patienten, insbesondere solche mit paranoiden Symptomatik. Depressiven Patienten, in der Regel diejenigen mit einer bipolaren Störung, die auftreten kann, ein Wechsel von depression zu Manie oder Hypomanie. Diese Ereignisse wurden ebenfalls selten berichtet mit dem tetrazyklischen Antidepressivum, maprotilin. Therapie mit diesen Wirkstoffen gegeben werden sollte vorsichtig in Patienten mit Schizophrenie, bipolare Störung, oder eine Geschichte von mania.
