Konsument:

Azathioprin ist metabolisch umgewandelt, die pharmakologisch aktive 6-Mercaptopurin (6-MP). Umstellung auf 6-MP und den Stoffwechsel von 6-MP kann beeinträchtigt werden, bei Patienten mit Lebererkrankungen. Therapie mit Azathioprin gegeben werden sollte vorsichtig in Patienten mit Lebererkrankungen. Überwachung der Leberfunktion wird empfohlen, bei diesen Patienten.
