Antihistaminika kann selten verursachen Herz-Kreislauf-Nebenwirkungen im Zusammenhang mit Ihren anticholinergen und örtlicher Betäubung (Chinidin-artige) Aktivitäten. Tachykardie, Herzklopfen, EKG-Veränderungen, Arrhythmien, Hypotonie und Hypertonie wurden berichtet. Obwohl diese Effekte sind selten und in der Regel beschränkt auf eine überdosierung von Situationen, die Hersteller und einige ärzte empfehlen, dass die Therapie mit Antihistaminika verabreicht werden vorsichtig in Patienten mit Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankung, Bluthochdruck und/oder Hyperthyreose.
