Konsument:

Thiazid-Diuretika verringern die rate der Harnsäure-Ausscheidung. Hyperurikämie tritt auf, Häufig aber in der Regel asymptomatisch und nur selten führt zu klinischen Gicht, außer bei Patienten mit einer Geschichte von Gicht oder chronischen Nierenversagen. Therapie mit Thiazid-Diuretika verabreicht werden soll vorsichtig bei solchen Patienten.
