Die Verwendung von selektiven serotonin-Wiederaufnahme-Hemmer (SSRIs) wurde im Zusammenhang mit veränderten Thrombozyten-Funktion. Petechiae, purpura, ecchymosis, erhöhte Blutungsneigung Zeiten, epistaxis und gastrointestinale Blutungen berichtet worden. Therapie mit SSRIs gegeben werden sollte vorsichtig in Patienten mit schwerer aktiver Blutung oder hämorrhagische Diathese.
